TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the provision of educational services offered by AQL Academy, operated by Chaimaa Rahi, based in Tangier, Morocco.

By registering for a course or agreeing to receive educational services from AQL Academy, the student or, where applicable, the student's parent or legal guardian, acknowledges these Terms and Conditions.

2. Educational Services

AQL Academy provides educational courses in areas including:

  • Modern Standard Arabic (Arabic Fusḥā) for non-Arabic speakers
  • Arabic grammar
  • Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh)
  • Qur'anic studies and Tafsir
  • Hadith studies
  • Qur'an recitation and Tajwid

Courses may be provided:

  • In person
  • Online

Online classes may be conducted through Zoom.

3. Course Information and Registration

Information concerning courses, schedules, levels, prices, availability, and registration procedures may be communicated through the website or directly by AQL Academy.

Registration is considered confirmed only after the required registration steps have been completed and, where applicable, the course fee has been paid according to the arrangements communicated by AQL Academy.

The website itself does not currently provide direct online payment or automatic course purchases.

4. Course Fees and Payment

Course fees are communicated to students before registration.

Where payment is required, AQL Academy will communicate the applicable payment method and payment instructions directly to the student or their parent or legal guardian.

Any applicable payment conditions will be communicated before the registration is confirmed.

5. Online Classes

For online courses, students are responsible for having:

  • A suitable device
  • A stable Internet connection
  • Access to the required communication platform
  • A suitable environment for attending the class

AQL Academy is not responsible for interruptions caused by the student's Internet connection, equipment, electricity supply, or third-party platforms.

6. In-Person Classes

In-person classes may take place at the following location:

Rue d'Angleterre, Tangier, Morocco

The location, schedule, and any specific attendance instructions will be communicated to students before or during registration.

7. Attendance and Punctuality

Students are expected to attend classes on time and to respect the scheduled class times.

Repeated lateness or absence may affect the student's progress.

Any specific attendance or make-up arrangements will be communicated according to the course concerned.

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class, they should inform AQL Academy as early as possible.

Cancellation, rescheduling, or make-up arrangements may depend on the type of course and the circumstances involved.

Any specific cancellation or refund conditions applicable to a course will be communicated before registration where necessary.

9. Refunds

Refund conditions, where applicable, depend on the course, the payment arrangement, and the circumstances of the cancellation.

Where a refund is available, the applicable conditions and procedure will be communicated to the student.

10. Educational Materials and Intellectual Property

Educational materials provided by AQL Academy, including lessons, texts, exercises, documents, recordings, and other original materials, are intended for the personal educational use of the registered student.

Unless expressly authorized, students may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, share, or commercially exploit these materials.

11. Online Class Recordings

Students must not record, reproduce, distribute, or publish online classes or recordings without prior authorization from AQL Academy and, where applicable, the consent of other participants.

12. Student Conduct

Students are expected to behave respectfully toward teachers and other students.

AQL Academy reserves the right to take appropriate measures in cases of serious or repeated inappropriate conduct, including suspension or termination of participation in a course, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the case.

13. Minors

Where a student is a minor, registration and participation may require the involvement or authorization of a parent or legal guardian, where applicable.

The parent or legal guardian is responsible for providing accurate information necessary for registration and communication.

14. Changes to Courses

AQL Academy may make reasonable changes to course schedules, teachers, platforms, or organizational arrangements when necessary.

Students will be informed of significant changes affecting their course whenever reasonably possible.

15. Limitation of Responsibility

AQL Academy provides educational services with the aim of supporting students' learning and progress.

However, no specific academic result or level of achievement can be guaranteed, as outcomes depend on factors including attendance, participation, individual effort, and prior knowledge.

AQL Academy is not responsible for technical problems caused by third-party platforms or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

16. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit any mandatory rights or protections that may apply to the student or consumer under applicable law.

17. Updates to These Terms

AQL Academy may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be published on this page. Students are encouraged to review the Terms and Conditions before registering for a course.
